It's a common issue with Windows 8 and 10. It can take like 20 tries to even get to the login screen. Sometimes you will crash even on login, that's how annoying it is for windows 8 and 10.
If the launcher.bat doesn't work however by returning an error, like file could not be found. Then download the optional Patch and use the launcher.bat that has windows 10 included in its name.
If you still get an error that the file couldn't be found, then an antivirus has deleted necessary files that Dragonica needs.

Other's server don't do bug like this even on this chapter, the owner probably made something wrong when he created the server?
I think there's nothing change about your "Launcher Win8-10" and the original. :')

All other Chapter 4 servers have the same issue. Played 2 other chapter 4 server myself

This has now been fixed and you can play normally. Download the hotfix from download page on the official website.
