Hello and welcome to my socket guide.

This guide will help you where to buy socket cards (Effect Cards and Element Cards) and of course how to use them.

    1. Where do I find all the stuff?

First of all - how do I put sockets in my equipment?

The procedure will be done with Socket Hammers. Socket Hammers are obtainable at the shop. You can find them in the section "Supplies", Category "Consumables"- Page 4.

Here are all items you need for the socket. Every Weapon and Armor can have 2 Slots.

The first slot will ALWAYS be used for the effect cards and the second slot is always be used for the element cards.

For the first slot you will need 1 star socket hammer (Weapon or Armor, depends what you need)

You can find all socket cards in the shop again. Section Premium, category "SocketCards"
The effect cards are a little expensive (50K Cash per card.. except the Aim card for 25K Cash)
And beware.. it MIGHT happen that the procedure fails because the cards got a 50% success chance.

And for the second slot the 2 star socket hammer of course. (Weapon or Armor again)

All the element cards can be bought in Moonlight Shore Village from the Tool Merchant.

The element cards you can buy are: Fire, Ice, Earth, Dark And only for attack Destruction.
Every card gives the same bonus attack and defense. And good to know: The element system works different here. All the attack elements are additional damage
Attack element cards can be put in your Weapon, in your Hands and your Shoes.
All cards can be bought for 1 Gold each!

    2. How do I use them now?

    Socket Guide for beginners Mercha10

That guy is the answer. Master Producer Midas.
You can find him at the Central of Port of the Winds.
After you chose the option "Create Socket", a little window will open.
Here you can chose the options "Socket creation", "Socket restore" and "Socket recovery".
It's simple, with the option Socket creation you can put finally the wanted Sockets in your equipment.
Be sure you use the hammers, otherwise it might fail.
You will also need some Souls from shop to create them.
Thanks to the server Souls can be stacked to 9999.
So buy a lot at the Category "Upgrades" and you are ready to go.

If you wanna change your implemented cards you can also easily remove them again.
This procedure will need "Socket option remover".

And if you really need to try creating sockets without a hammer... The option "Socket recovery" will save you.
And also the broken socket recovery powder.

    3. The end of the guide.

I hope this guide will help a lot of people with the sockets because they can be pretty strong.
And its also a good additional damage for the beginning.
