Hello there~

This guide is intended to help new players learn the basics. I will try to keep it succinct as possible. I will also consider your client is successfully installed and updated to the last version. Feel free to criticize and comment to help improve this guide to its full potential~.

Step 1.  
If you have not registered yet, go to http://ex-dragonica.com/  and
click on ''Create an Account



Step 2.  
Create your character in-game.


Step 3.  
After your character is created, use the free JobChange service in your Control Panel. Your character will become Lv.60 instantly after you kill 1 monster.  Notice that you have other services such as Bounty Service and Gold/Cash Service which will be useful for later steps. Visit https://ex-dragonica.forumotion.com/t236-how-to-make-a-character-lv60-instantly  if you don't know how to job change.

You can also make a (★)Character for Balanced/Equalized PvP and Tournament Events. All stats are set for you. All you need to do is buy a Lv.40 weapon from merchant, put bonus stats into 150 VIT/HLT and wear Level 90? Still a NOOB! medal.
As the Game Rules say, you must not gear up that character to farm (PvE) and BSQ.
Your character will be DELETED if you gear it up for bsq/pve .

Step 4.  
Before you log back into the game, you may want to get 50000 Cash from Voting System by clicking on the Woodi Icon in your Control Panel. You will not get your cash if you leave your Control Panel open for too long. Make sure you refresh your session by relogging.


Step 5.  
Buy one 5xEXP Potion (25000 Cash) and Jack’s Beans (2000 Cash each). You will need them to level up faster. The EXP potion last 2 hours and each Jack's bean last 10 min. You can convert your gold to cash by using the service panel.



Step 6.  
Before you start grinding, you should get a Undead Bone Weapon of your class for FREE in CashShop (in Premium! Category). You can also buy some costumes for additional stats and of course, fashion!

Step 7.
For additional skill points, you can purchase 1x skill points in Cash Shop. 1 scroll will give you 1000 skill points. Save the rest for your future characters by storing them in your account vault. To deal higher damage, I suggest you to level your skills up to Lv.4 if there's ''(PvE)'' next to the skill name. Lv.4 Skills are buffed with high % damage for PvE purpose. Note that Lv.4 PvE Skills will not work in PvP/BSQ.



Step 8.  
Buy Premium Seal Remover and Seal Scroll in CashShop (Supplies > Upgrade> page1). To make your equips Artifact Grade, use the Seal Scroll on your Dark Soul weapon and unseal it with Premium Seal Remover.  If it’s Cursed, repeat the step.



Step 9.  
Talk to the NPC in kimono in middle of Port of Wind. Go to Cherry Blossom Dungeon (Map 4) and level up to Lv43 or higher. After you reach that level, buy Sign of Hero in MISC category and find the Class Masters NPC in Port of Wind South to trade for Glorious set in CP Store.

IF CHERRY MAPS ARE OFFLINE.
Buy Free Pass (Global) (Supplies>Travel>Page1) and right click on it.
Then go to the following dungeons (F1):
Verglas Ridge Map4:             60-70
Dragon Valley Map1:             70-95
Edge of the World Map6:       95-99

I suggest you to not waste your time unlocking F7. If you are playing as a priest, don't use heal in boss room or the map will crash.

Step 10.  
When you have enough gold, get Weapon/Armor Enchant Dust in Upgrade category for free and enchant your Dark soul weapon to +15 (100% success rate, no insurance scroll needed).



Step 11. Optional
If you wish to enchant further than +15, you will need to buy  Insurance Scroll.  Don’t forget to apply the scroll or your equipment will BREAK upon failure. The scroll can be found in CashShop (Supplies> Upgrade> Page3)


Step 12.  
Now it’s time to grind to Lv.99.  To level up faster, stack your EXP bonus by consuming your 5x EXP potion first, and then consume your Jack Bean.  Go back to dungeons in step 9. Repeat step 5 if you run out of EXP bonus. You can get more Cash by trading your gold for cash (1:2) in your Control Panel.  



Step 13.  
As your level progress, you can buy better armor and weapon in CashShop like Undead Bone Weapon and Armor (Lv.60)  or  Zauharant weapon (Lv.70) in Premium! Category.  Then repeat step 8, 10 and 11.  If you don't have enough cash to afford better armors, get  a better Glorious set from Class Masters NPC (step 9.) ( Port of Wind South)


Step 14.
If you have reached Lv.70, soulcraft your Zauharant Weapon to Legendary Grade with the same Insurance Scrolls you bought in step 11 in shop. You might want to farm more gold to buy more Insurance Scrolls because the success rate is low. The dungeon called Edge of the World will be the best place to farm gold once you reach lv95. Otherwise, go to Dragon Valley. Sometimes you won't do any damage on monsters when you do a critical attack. That's because you can deal up to 220'000 crit damage cap. You will have to buy New Origin Belt to do regular damage without limit.



Step 15.
Once you feel geared enough (Tier 3), you should be able to solo farm Woodi Coins (wc) to get better equipment such as Elga Armors.  Woodi Coins can be obtained from Bounty Instances  (VanCliff, Paris, Elga and Endairon) or BattleSquare if you have atleast 2000 contribution points (To be honest, don't waste 30min. to get 5 Woodi Coins in BattleSquare). To start the instance, you need to buy scrolls in Shop. One scroll is enough for the whole party.  WARNING: Final Bosses have heck a lot of HP.

Step 16.
Trade your Bounty rewards from VanCliff/Paris/Elga/Endairon for W-Coins through your Service Panel.


Step 17.
Buy better gear from Woodi Shop  https://ex-dragonica.forumotion.com/t51-catalog-woodi-exchange
I suggest you to get:
1: Full Legendary Black Dragon Armor set of your class.
2: Full Dinosaur set (cash shop) or hybrid with Jacko Set (4 parts).
3: WHITE Paris wings (required to make Seraphim wings)
4: Craft Elga Weapon (see guide section)
5: Craft Endairon Set (talk to production NPC Midas in PoW Center)
6: Battlesquare for feathers (required to make Seraphim wings)

Step 18.

Attack Speed
Adrenaline Booster  (guild buff) gives +120% aspd for 1 hour.

Soul Force.
Base DEF or ATK on your equips (max 999) are proportional to Soul Force (the higher soulforce, the better).

Extra bonus stat points.
In your service panel, you can also buy more stat points (up to 32000) with WoodiCoins to improve your character potential in PvP and PvE

What HP pots can i use cause the regular pots in NPC heals slower

HP Eternity potions are currently disabled due to abuse in BSQ and PvP
Also it is to make dungeon/instances more challenging.
So it will require some role play like Healer, Tank and DPS. Some dungeons are not meant to solo.
